Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to purchases made from Lluest Wen Farm.
1. Who we are
Lluest Wen Farm is operated by Trystan Rhys Griffiths, trading as Lluest Wen Farm, Llangynwyd, Maesteg, South Wales, CF34 9RA.

When we refer to "we", "us" or "Lluest Wen Farm" in these terms, we mean Trystan Rhys Griffiths trading as Lluest Wen Farm.
2. Our lamb
Our lamb boxes contain lamb reared at Lluest Wen Farm. Our lambs are born here, raised on our farm and professionally slaughtered and butchered by approved local businesses.
We do not buy in lamb to meet demand. Availability is therefore limited and seasonal, and products may sell out.
Photographs and descriptions on our website are provided as a guide. As lamb is a natural agricultural product, the exact weight, size and proportions of individual cuts will vary.
3. Reservations and deposits
Lamb boxes are reserved by paying the deposit shown on the product page.
Current reservation deposits are:
- Half Lamb Box – £30
- Whole Lamb Box – £60
The deposit forms part of the purchase price and will be deducted from the final amount due.
Payment of a deposit reserves the relevant lamb box but does not fix its final weight or total price.
4. Final price and weight
Lamb is charged at £15 per kilogram based on the actual final packed weight.
Once the lamb has been butchered and its packed weight is known, we will calculate the final price and deduct the reservation deposit already paid.
We will then contact you with the final weight and remaining balance.
The remaining balance must be paid securely before delivery.
Because individual animals naturally vary in size, we cannot guarantee an exact final weight or final total when a reservation is placed.
5. Availability
Our lamb boxes are produced in limited seasonal releases.
Although we take reasonable care to ensure availability shown on our website is accurate, farming involves circumstances that cannot always be predicted.
If we are unable to fulfil your reservation, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative where available or refund payments relating to the unfulfilled order.
6. Delivery
We currently provide local delivery within our stated delivery area. Delivery charges are shown during checkout based on the delivery address.
Lamb boxes are collected chilled from our butcher and delivered directly to customers by Lluest Wen Farm.
We will contact you to arrange or confirm your delivery date and approximate delivery time.
Someone must be available at the delivery address to receive the order. Due to the perishable nature of fresh meat, we cannot leave lamb boxes unattended, in a safe place or with a neighbour unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.
We do not currently offer collection from Lluest Wen Farm or collection from our butcher.
Please ensure that the delivery address and contact information supplied with your order are accurate.
7. Fresh and perishable food
Our lamb is supplied fresh/chilled, vacuum packed and individually labelled.
Customers are responsible for refrigerating or freezing the meat promptly after delivery and following the storage, use-by and other instructions provided on the individual packaging.
8. Cancellations and refunds
Fresh meat and other goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly may be exempt from the usual statutory 14-day cancellation right applicable to many online purchases.
However, we aim to deal with cancellations fairly.
If you need to cancel a lamb-box reservation, please contact us as soon as possible. Any refund will take account of the stage your order has reached and any reasonable costs or losses we have already incurred in preparing or committing the order for you.
We will not withhold money where we have no lawful basis to do so.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet applicable legal requirements.

9. Problems with an order
Please inspect your order promptly when it is delivered.
If you believe there is a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at hello@lluestwenfarm.co.uk, providing details of the issue and photographs where appropriate.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
10. Product requests
Our lamb boxes are currently supplied using our standard butchery specification and we cannot guarantee individual custom cuts.
Offal may be requested, subject to availability. Bones are not currently available.
11. Payments
Payments made through our website and payment links are processed securely by our payment providers.
You agree to provide accurate and complete billing, contact and delivery information when placing an order.
12. Website information
We take reasonable care to ensure information on our website is accurate. Occasionally, errors may occur in descriptions, availability or pricing.
If an obvious error affects an order, we will contact you before proceeding and will not require you to purchase at an incorrectly stated price.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law.
We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where the law provides otherwise.
14. Privacy
Personal information provided to us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms applicable to an order will normally be those in effect when that order is placed.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory legal protections and rights regarding where proceedings may be brought.
