On the hill
The ewes and lambs have moved up onto the top ground for the summer. The grass is holding well after a kind June, and we're keeping a close eye on water in the far troughs.

Shearing wrapped up over a long weekend with the help of family and neighbours. The flock always seems lighter on their feet the day the wool comes off.

A strong crop of lambs this spring, mostly outdoors on the lower fields. Long nights in the shed, but no season we'd rather be in.
